How do i get the hairdressers on animal crossing?

my friend has the hairdressers and she thought it was because of how much of my morgage i paid off . i now have the same house as her and i still dont have it.

after you pay off your 3rd morgage you unlock Nookingtons, inside there is Shampoodle the hairdressers. for the haircut styles check out www.animalxing.comHow do i get the hairdressers on animal crossing?
Yeah, just keep buying stuff at Nooks and make sure that you have somebody else (from a different town) buy something from your Nooks and he'll tell you that he's upgrading and then you'll get a new store and get the hairdresser.
