How much do hair extenshions cost in a hairdressers?

Im just wondering how much uk hairdressers charge for hair extenshions? and how long they last? thanks! How much do hair extenshions cost in a hairdressers?
Im not in the uk but ive talked to a lot of people who often quote 400 pounds, so heres how it is in canada anyways, our dollars are worth about half yours so that may help

There are different types of extensions. Weaves, glue in, fusion, micro links are most common.

Weaves last about a month, and are uncomfortable and damaging. Cost about $300-$700

Fusion is better and uses i-tipped or u-tipped hair, they are attached using a bonding keratin glue, strand by strand (well not individual strands, but small pieces). These are damaging and can cause breakage leaving your hair very short as it breaks at the glue point.Cost $400-$2000, last 3-6 months. Hair is garbage when done.

Micro links are the best of the options. They use I-tipped hair (or loop hair)and are connected using a small ';bead';. The best thing about micro links is that the hair is reusable as there is no glue involved, and if you want to keep them longer than the recommended 4-6 months you simply move up the bead. These cost between $400-$2000+ and 200 strands are needed for full head with this, as well as fusion.

You can cut costs by buying your own hair. You want to buy Remy Human Hair, this hair can be cut, dyed whatever, you treat it as your own. With the exception of washing, you cant wash all different types more than 2-3 times a week. If you need help finding good quality affordable hair please let me know. I can find you great hair online for $200 or less

Those are your more permanent extensions, I have had each one of those done (except glue cuz its horrible) and honestly, I love clip ins. They are so low maintenance and soo much cheaper. $100 will get you 2 packs of grade A hair ( i like using two packs, looks more natural that way). They are just so much easier to deal with and convenient. Im not guna lie, weaves, fusion, and micros are all very uncomfortable to sleep with and feel in your head. I find clip ins look the most natural, whenever i tell people I have them in they are shocked. If you need any kind of help finding hair (if your guna order online) let me know, I've bought a lot of hair online and can help you find what you need very quickly lol How much do hair extenshions cost in a hairdressers?
Hi there.

For years i had the individual extensions and took 9 hours to put in and cost a small fortune (around 拢400-拢500) i got this done every 3 months and i was nearly bankrupt haha. My friend then told me that the clip in extensions in sally services were brilliant. So i tried them and have never looked back.

The colour match is spot on and you can curl, dye and do pretty much anything to them. They come in all different lengths.

Defiantly worth a shot. The full head is 拢65 and will last you as long as you look after them. You can also but individual strips for 拢15.99 each. Maybe try them out first and see how you get on.

Could not live without them!

Salon prices for hair extensions vary anything from 拢150-拢700+.

In order to give you specific prices it would be useful to know what you want exactly, bonded, clip ins, weave, etc... Have a look at Funkyrapunzels.co.uk there is loads of information and price information there.
It varies!

I've had a few lots of different hair extensions and I always get them from Sally Salon Services! They colour match the extensions to your hair and they last for ages if you take good care of them!

They usually start at about 拢50. It really depends on the thickness of your hair and what brand they are!

glued in or sewed/braided in?

i have clip-in extensions. they're human hair, and mine were about $100.

but clip-ins you don't get at hairdressers.

but just a warning: if you have fine/thin hair they will probably pull your hair out. i had to stop wearing mine due to bald spots. /:

but good luck. :]
it varies.. i live in scotland and got my full head for 400 but i know it depends on the hair you use and length etc.. i had a full set at sixteen inches..
