What do hairdressers think when you bring in a picture for your haircut?

Don't worry what anyone else thinks about you, if you want a specific hairstyle then take a picture. I's worth a shot and at least you won't get a shock when they do something awful to you hair (although they probably won't). You're paying them, so they don't care what you ask them for really (although they'll advise you if they don't think the style will suit you or if it's not doable on you hair type)

Some people are really bad at explaining things, and even if YOU understand the style your explaining, the hairdresser might not. Most prefer you bring in a Picture, as It helps with what you want. If they dont really have a Visual of what the hairstyle, or haircut is, They have a better chance of doing what you didn't want.
my gf is a hairdresser and she gets that all the time. its why they have magazines in there. they would rather see what u want than have you try and explain it.

Well, usually when my customers bring in a photo(I am a professional hairdresser) I ignore it
They think it is a very good idea, it helps them a lot, {Daughter is hairdresser,}
when i brought a picture in for my hairstylist she said ';thank god this makes my life so much easier'; lol
usually,'; I am a hairdresser not a miracle worker';! lol
I dont think they think anything i took a picture in and im a guy.
