Can anyone please let me know how much does it costs in the South East to rent a chair in a hairdressers? Do you have to pay any other fees to the salon/landlord?
I have read that my wife will also need her own public liabiliy insurance etc and maybe pay a percentage of takings to the salon to cover shampoo etc?

why don`t you fone round salons to find out how much they are charging to rent a chair! I`m pretty sure it will depend on the clientelle and how much it costs to rent/buy the shop that will influence the cost of the chair rental, she will most certainly need some sort of insurance although the salon owner may cover this in the rental price. I would write a list of everything you need to know and when approaching certain salons you should ask all the questions that you need answered.
