What do hairdressers use when blowdrying African American Hair?

Any ideas? Some hairdressers spray something on my hair when they blowdry my hair that makes it so straight I almost don't need to flat iron it. Also what can I use on my hair between blowdrying/straightening to keep the frizzies away? What do hairdressers use when blowdrying African American Hair?
usually they get stuff from supply stores but mine parts my hair then combs a mouse though it ,it makes my hair smooth and shiny, personally i like the herbal essences stuff smells great works wonders even on african american hair . She also uses a heat protectant spray made for hot irons and blow drying it's by chi i believe.

Also your hair dresser probably uses different blow-dryers than you not to mention she's had alot more time to do hair , so i wouldn't expect the exact same results , at least until you have a few more years under your belt .

between straightening i'd recommend wrapping it with an anti frizz serum , john freda's frizz ease is a life saver . Just part your hair and comb it though then part it in the back and wrap it around your head it takes a few tries and believe me it's super annoying but it's so worth it not waking up looking like a sheep . Good Luck and don't be afraid to just ask what she's using , mine is ALL too willing to sell it to me.What do hairdressers use when blowdrying African American Hair?
I don't know. I'm African American, and the stuff my hairdresser uses is way to greasy for me. Try a light oil sheen like the hard to find Optimum (its in a lavender like colored bottle). Also, check a beauty store, sometimes they can help.
ask the one you go to
frizz ease
ASK THAT HAIRDRESSER TO USE DOGROW HAIR PRODUCTS IT FOR AFRICAN AMERICAN PEPS

it is funny i thought people wouldnt be here to answer today is christmas go away! happy christmas
Please let me know! I'm taking my hair extensions out next week and I'm a little scared because my mom hasn't used a flat iron on me for a while. (I don't want to get burned!) lol!
A combo of Smoothdown Heat Glide from Redken, and a line straightening cream also from Redken. In between I would use vinyl glam also from Redken. Make sure you sleep with a rag on.
It's a straightning Serum I started paying attention 2 what my beautician uses on my hair so that i can keep the routine up at home
Something like frizz-ease or oil sheen. A little tip though you should keep up on tour trims also that helps cut down on frizzes.
