I don't go to the hairdressers very often, not sure what to ask for when I call to make an appointment;


Trim and style or Cut and re鈥搒tyle?





I want my hair trimmed, layered and feathered - so would that mean I ask for trim and style?What do I ask for when booking appointment with a hairdressers?

Yes just book for cut/trim and style. Now about the style, it is helpful if you can show the hairdresser a photograph/picture of the style you want, and also make sure it suits your hair and your face. Try at home a few different things, don't rush into cutting hair unless you are sure.


If you are booking at a rather large salon that has lots of staff, ask the receptionist about different tariff scales, because they have 'juniors' and also more experienced hairdressers, they all usually charge differently according to experience.
if you don't know what to do, just make an appointment for a make over and let them to decide what you really need.
